Colorado Urban Wildlife Partnership Presents

click here to print a >   On June 15th & June 16th Denver communities will be counting everything that grows, creeps, crawls, hops, flies or slithers within a 30-mile radius of the Colorado Capitol Building. The 24-hour BioBlitz is an inventory of all living wild things. |

New this year: Many groups are working together to bring you the BioBlitz Festival at the Audubon Center at Chatfield. Friday, June 15 8:30pm Wildlife Night Hike & Bat Mist Netting Saturday, June 16 9am—1pm Open House 9am Pond Muck Monsters 10am Butterfly Count 10am Mini-Beast Safari BioBlitz is free and open to the public. To see a comprehensive list BioBlitz programs at the Audubon Center visit: http://www.denveraudubon.org/bioblitz.htm The Audubon Center is located at the southwest corner of Chatfield State Park, about 4 1/2 miles south of C470 and Wadsworth on Waterton Road. The Colorado Urban Wildlife Partnership (UWP) is a consortium of public and private organizations dedicated to connecting people to their natural surroundings by promoting awareness and appreciation of urban wildlife through collaboration and sharing of resources. |
